Bestway Pools

I bought a pool from Menards and put it up it was a Bestway 16 by 10 and it had two side support bars on each side problem was we set it up and only one of the side supports had a reinforced loop to help keep the pressure off the top rail so of course it collapsed befor we could even use it it cost $400 and it was not up but maybe three weeks and the side collapsed. Two days after we had put it up we had noticed that the side bar started to droop.

We contacted the company right away. They told us we had to make a claim which was by email and would take 3 to 6 business days to get back to us well today it gave away I found a phone number to contact the company which it then sent me to a chat, not actually being able to talk to anyone and that chat sent me to a place where I had to put in my credit card information which I was not going to do to pay a dollar to be able to talk to a human being and was given the runaround and my biggest problem is is if my children were in that pool when it gave away they could have gotten severely hurt And their company did not give me the proper tools to be able to solve the problem. There is no phone number to actually contact this company. I will never buy a best way pool again nor will I ever recommend products.

Dates I bought it 4-19-24 put it up on 4-23-24 and today was when it gave way 5-10-24 not even one month! Never used:(

I ordered a Bestway Pool in the spring so that we would be prepared as soon as the weather warmed up. I live in Michigan and we get maybe three months of nice weather every summer.

We prepped the area, spent hours and days preparing the ground, and finally got to the point where we could open the box and set up the pool only to find they had sent us all the parts for a 15-foot pool EXCEPT one connector which was for a 10-foot pool. The first problem is getting in touch with someone from Bestway in the first place. There is no customer service number, so you have to fill out a form and wait for a call back. I did not receive a call for SIX DAYS.

By the time I heard from the company, I had already purchased a replacement part on EBAY because the company website does not offer the replacement part that I needed (T Joint Connector). The second problem is that the customer service representative was terrible at her job. Most of the call was spent in silence waiting for her to say something, and when she did I swear her mouth was full of something. It sounded like she was eating while she was on the phone.

The real kicker is: I'm 'out of warranty' so they won't even replace the incorrect part. DO NOT BUY A BESTWAY POOL.

They are not any cheaper than what you will find at your local Sam's Club, Walmart, or Menards. Bottom line, Bestway probably makes decent pools, but they aren't the cheapest on the market, or the best on the market, and if you want to guarantee you'll receive what you paid for I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

I just tried using my brand new pump, which I just took out of the box, and it doesnt work! It clicks on, and then off again. Ive tried to reach customer service, but its impossible to get a live person to talk to.

I put up and filled my pool, then realized it had a split in the seam. I wont even let my grandchildren get in it.

For fear if it totally breaks loose, they could be injured. All I really would like to have happen is a new pool liner to replace this one.

I have had this pool for less than 2 years and I have never had so much trouble with a pool. First, a month into having it, the comfort jets stopped working, then the pump gave out.

Everything is rusting, the ladder, the poles, and so on, not to mention the hundreds of hoses I replaced. Now, the comfort jet console is leaking where it attaches to the pool and customer support says there is nothing I can do. They are out of stock on a new console and said it could be 2 days, 2 months, or 2 years before it is in stock. Mind you, they are still making these pools and selling them for over $1,000.00.

They told me they don't have the seals either and they don't know what to tell me. In the meantime, my pool is turning green because the water level is so low I can't run the pump. This whole company is not to be trusted.

Never buy anything from them. Worst pool ever and I will never buy anything from them again!

We purchased our 12x24 frame pool in March of 2022. We put the pool up in June of 2022.

In June of 2024 the one side of the pool gave way and collapsed. All the water came rushing out and into our shed and sunroom area. It was fortunate nobody was swimming in the pool at the time or there would have been injuries. We had to dismantle the rest of the pool and throw it out.

Upon dismantling the pool and cutting up the remaining liner we found that the frame pieces inside the liner foot straps and the top support rails had completely rusted out. This was not visible as they were within the liner. The frame comes with a 2 year warranty and we were 3 months outside our warranty having purchased it in March 2022. Rust and to that extent does not happen overnight.

So this frame had been rusting for months maybe more than a year. Very lucky nobody got swept into a jagged broken rusty frame piece while swimming and the collapse! The company said they cant do anything and offered nothing as a resolution. Not partial compensation toward a new poolnothing.

We previously had an intex pool and will be buying another one. The only reason we switched brands was because our intex was demolished in a hurricane and the size of pool we wanted was out of stock and not expected to be back in stock for quite some time.

The liner was also much thinner than the intex pool right off the bat. I would not recommend buying this pool.

My children bought me a Bestway spa for my birthday several years ago. It stopped working after the third time I used it.

Spent over $1,000 on repairs over the last three years and it still is not running.

There are no Bestway service facilities anywhere in the country. Just a total waste of time and money.

After trying to get in touch with best way for a couple months now to the website I finally got a phone number to call and inform them that after one season my legs are rotted out they are telling me that the legs are only warranty for 6 months on top of it I asked how much replacement legs were for a 12x20x48 pool they said they do not make such a pool they only make it 18 by 9 by 48 it's amazing they don't make this product when I have one the incompetence of the people on the phone are unbelievable now when the pool Falls I am going to sue best way for they're incompetence. Shady product that I spent over $1,000 for last year it's amazing what a piece of crap this pool is I wish there was a way for me to send pictures I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said there are no supervisors available that she cannot transfer me to one I would like a call back my number is 646-243-****

I just need a new sand filter, please. It has gotten a large split in the seam. Send me a new one, please.

I tried to contact them and no one answered or got back to me I bought a 13 ft pool less than4 months ago and the liner is leaking by the seam its under warranty and nobody answered the phone I am not happy

Customer service for these products don't exist. You submit an issue with the guidelines of the warranty information trying to warranty a product that is supposed to have manufacturer warranty on it only to be told it does not have warranty.

Absolute zero options. Talk to a human being regarding these issues

Starts up but doesnt work. Setup on private circuits and starts up perfectly. Filled water to recommended level All

Bought a pool at Menards and its missing the cover... Tried contacting bestway pools nobody got back to me over week later!!!

They said they will not honor the warranty and there's nothing I can do about it even though the liner was damaged straight out the box but according to them that's not a manufacturer defect make that make sense please do not buy anything with their name on it unless you want to be screwed

I bought a pool from you from best way and the bottom seam leaks and I cant replace the liner or they wont replace the lighter cause they got any. I cant get any action out of them.

Im doing now just complaining.

First pool I bought from them was good this pool I think is manufactured discontinued. I think thats why I was on sale foolish me.
